Inspired by the Fluxus art movement, the ICP was formed by Han Bennink, Misha Mengelberg and Willem Breuker in 1967 as an organisation which promoted avant garde Dutch jazz performances and recordings.

The Ex

Dutch band, formed in 1979 in Amsterdam. Initially an anarcho-punk band but over the years they incorporated many different musical styles such as jazz, noise, free improvisation, ethnic/world music.
